Texas Woman Licks Ice Cream And Puts It Back Into The Freezer At Walmart
Nothing is safe anymore! While people are trying to cool down in the summer heat, this 17-year-old girl may have taken it a little too far…
You Might Want To Stay Away From The “Tin Roof” Flavored ice cream, Texas.
The new viral video from Lufkin, Texas, has sent people into a frenzy. A juvenile girl posted a video of herself licking an unopened tub of Blue Bell ice cream and then putting it back in the freezer. Detectives have spoken with the suspect, who is from San Antonio, Texas. They said that they won’t release her name since she is technically a minor.
Was It Worth It?
Police say that she could be facing up to 20 years in prison. The Walmart that she was at during the video said that the licked ice cream was never sold.
The case is being turned over to the Juvenile Justice Department, according to Jessica Pebsworth, spokesperson for the Lufkin Police Department. The police also said that they are looking for her companion, a man in a green shirt. He was seen entering and exiting the store with her.
Lufkin Walmart’s Statement:
“Our staff recognized the location of the video, and we inspected the freezer case. Based on security footage, the location and the inspection of the carton, we believe we may have recovered the half-gallon that was tampered with. Out of an abundance of caution, we have also removed all Tin Roof half gallons from that location. Food tampering is not a joke, and we will not tolerate tampering with our products.” The store said they notified the police as soon as an employee was able to identify the store where the incident took place.
Of Course, There Is The Matter Of The Copycats…
“Inspired” by the video, many people have started posting copycat videos. Kids nowadays are like “oh yeah watch this!” People have posted videos where they look like the girl and man, and are licking Blue Bell ice cream. This makes it difficult to find the original person, though any who are caught will likely face the same charges. Food tampering is a federal offense.
Woman Arrested For Driving With A Pool On The Roof, With Kids In It
You never know what you will see driving down the road. It could be anything, but a pool on the roof of a car, with kids in it? Bet you weren’t expecting that.
Yes, this really happened. In Dixon, Illinois, the police received a really bizarre call.
After seeing a white Audi Q5 driving down Illinois Route 2, a concerned citizen phoned the police and said that a large blue inflatable pool was balanced on the roof of the vehicle.
Mind you, this is a four-lane highway outside of downtown, so it’s no wonder this stunt freaked people out.
Two young children were in the pool as it was driving down the road. Are you kidding me?
The Dixon Police Department said in the press release that officers had searched the area in order to find the vehicle. When they found it, it was still driving down the road.
They stopped the vehicle, obviously. Jennifer A. Janus Yeager, 69, was arrested at the scene.
She was charged with two counts of Endangering the Health or Life of a Child and two counts of Reckless Conduct.
She was also cited for failure to secure a passenger under the age of 8 and under the age of 16. How does this even happen, they’re your kids!
When Yeager was interviewed, she was asked why she would do something so dangerous, and illegal. ?”During the course of the investigation, it was learned that Yeager drove into town to inflate the pool at a friend’s house and had her two juvenile daughters ride inside of the empty pool to hold it down on their drive home,” according to the press release.
Officers took pictures and posted them to their Facebook page. The post went viral, of course, and was shared and commented on thousands of times. Yeager was taken to the Dixon Police Department where she was processed and released after posting bond.
She has yet to enter a plea and it is not known if she has retained an attorney to speak for her. Yikes.
